Dr. Deacon Farrell is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional spine specialist based in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. With a specialized focus in regenerative medicine and interventional pain management, Dr. Farrell treats complex spine and pelvic disorders using minimally invasive and cutting-edge techniques.

Throughout his career, Dr. Farrell has held prominent leadership roles in several pain and surgical centers across Southern California, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Southern California Medical Center, Pacific Oaks, Azura Surgical Centers, and Wave Medical. Since 2022, he has served as the Director of Interventional Pain Medicine at Pacific Oaks Medical, while also acting as the Director of Anesthesiology at Southern California Hospitals Center.

In addition to his clinical and administrative roles, Dr. Farrell is recognized as a global innovator in healthcare technology. He has a strong interest in the integration of artificial intelligence within medical settings and has overseen the successful implementation of intraoperative AI technology to support surgical procedures in the operating room. He currently serves as the North American Medical Director for Vitvio, a leading health tech company, and is also the co-founder of Orella, a patient-centered app designed to bring accessible specialty care to underserved regions.

Dr. Farrell’s contributions to research are equally impressive. He received a FAER (Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research) Grant for his work on the effects of anesthetic agents on neural tissues. He has contributed to the development of updated brain trauma care guidelines and, as of 2025, has published work exploring the delivery of anesthesia for space travel.

Dr. Farrell earned his medical degree in both medicine and surgery from the National University of Ireland in Limerick. He completed his anesthesiology residency at NYU Langone Hospital and SUNY Downstate Medical Center Brooklyn NY and went on to complete two fellowships in regenerative medicine, pain medicine, regional ultrasound anesthesia at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. He is a member of both American Board of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
